David Marshall has performed professionally as a drummer/percussionist in Newcastle, Sydney and the Hunter Valley for over 20 years. He has played in a wide variety of bands, from 90’s rock to jazz, R & B, and Celtic/folk rock, including the multi-award winning Sligo Maid and rock’n’roll favourite Blast from the Past. He played side drum for the Newcastle RSL Pipe Band for six years and also performed for two years as the house drummer for Kings Theatre Restaurant at Lambton. David currently operates from his home studio at Maryville where he teaches students of all ages as well as providing drum tracks for various recording projects.
